24/7 a wedding planner's to-do list

I pride myself in always trying to take a bride's call and answering texts and emails promptly.  To try and be the end-all, know-all to all things wedding related.  Being a wedding planner is my full-time and often, more than full-time job.  I am always on the go and busy working, but I often wonder if my clients wonder what I'm really doing.   So, I wanted to give you a little peek.  Welcome to my world!

In one week's time...

Met @ a potential client's residence to discuss her wedding . Attended a cake consult with E. at Cakes n More . Met with a make-up artist . Helped Sweet Impressions run chocolate fountains for a corporate event . Met with a rental company to discuss their rentals and services . Delivery/set up/pick up a champagne fountain for a corporate function . Met with a client and her florist . Met with potential client to discuss her wedding . Attended new facility open house . Attended a tasting with caterer . Updated facebook . Updated blogs . Designed and ordered new portfolio and floral albums . Met with a new stationer . Went to a rental company to take photos of rustic iron lanterns for a client . Typed up 5 contracts . Scheduled 5 new consulting appointments . Confirmed appointments for next week . Contacted 10 vendors requesting special Haute Wedding prices for my Hautties . Designed new ad for Wedding Guide . Looked over contracts and proposals for a number of clients . Put together an outline for my new Internship Program . Purchased my booth space for May Bridal Show . Working on putting together three open houses .  Responded to an average of 30 communications per day . and this, believe it or not, is a slow week!

On top of all this, I do make some "me" time in which I clean my house, feed my family, chauffeur my kids to their activities and appointments and fit in some fun.
